Kuvaa aarteen facebookiin, monen muun takin joukkoon.
Minä bongaan netissä ryhmäkuvan takeista, jostain pilkottaa mielenkiintoista vekattua skottiruutua. Seuraa tekstailua ja puhelinsoitto. Ennen pitkää se sama vekkihelma, josta sisko tiesi minun pitävän, löytää tiensä kotiin.
There are benefits for having a sister who owns a secondhand store: every now and then she comes across a unique piece of clothing that she knows I'd really like. Sometimes, though, like two weeks ago, she'll find something (in this case, a coat) that I'd like but she won't let me know. She doesn't want to tempt me. She photographs the coat for the shop's facebook-page, with a bunch of other coats.
And then what happens: I see a group shot of random coats online, and notice a little bit of pleated tartan poking out in the picture. Is that a coat? What is that? Texting and phone calls follow. A week later, that something with the pleated hem, the one that my sister knew I'd like, has come home.
That is truly a wonderful garment!
ReplyDeleteI know, isn't it! :)
DeleteOooh, a McQueen line, too. Nice. ;-) And with the ultimate accessory: kitty fuzz! *meow*
ReplyDeleteYes, no piece of black clothing can exist in our household without fuzz. :D
