Tämä on tonttiamme ympäröivä pelto. Joskus sitä tulee pohdiskeltua, että onko voikukkien kitkemisessä ylipäätään mitään järkeä. Sota on jo hävitty. Mutta ovathan ne kauniita, nuo pienet höytyväiset, matkaavat tuuleen, toisille maille.

This is the field that surrounds our yard. Yes, that's about a gazillion dandelion seeds, just waiting to land on our perennial beds and veggie garden. The war has already been lost. But aren't they pretty though, the fluffy little things, taking off to the wind, traveling to distant lands.
