Sadas / 100th

It's March 1st, and spring is in the air. A glimpse of blue skies and the sun - that's all there is, really, but today it feels like just enough. A freezing cold breeze blows from the lake, reminding us to stay patient, telling us that winter is still here. Inside, it's nice and warm though. The top of our heating oven is Illusia's favorite place.

This, by the way, is my 100th post. Considering how busy I am with work these days, it's a lot more than I would have thought. I guess most of my posts are just quick glances into occasional everyday musings, but perhaps that's enough, or at least better than nothing.

  2. Onnittelut! Äkkiä tuo on tosiaan täyttynyt.

  3. Congratulations! Illusia is beautiful, and it's nice to see such a happy puddle of warm kitty.

I bought a pressure sensitive heating pad for my 24 year old black and white kitty, Orca. He's quite healthy but his rheumatism bothers him in the winter--mild though our winters here are these days. (Depressingly mild, really! In fact, it's not cold enough for the big heater most nights, hence the special kitty pad. He loves it.)

    1. Thanks! And wow, 24 years is a super-respectable age for a kitty... just... wow! It's so funny how much cats love heat. As soon as we load up the firewood into the heating oven, our cats come running. :)
